Ahhh yes.....some very good points. And I researched the weight of these engines pretty good before making my decision to go with the DA. And not that I was ever in doubt of the Moki's ability I guess I just wanted an excuse to own a DA50 and this was it.

You know how we sometime go to great lengths to justify in our own minds our inner most desires. Well all I had to hear was Chip Hyde say that this plane will handle it and that he had flown that setup and approved of it

And the funny thing is that the Sig Cap231ex w/ Moki that I was selling for the money to buy the DA50, I ended up trading for a set of golf clubs. Just another one of wild stretch justifications. But hey.......when I play golf 3 times this year I'll look really good sporting my brand new custom fitted clubs.
