Believe me ... you will have more than enough power with that DA-50

I have that engine on a 80 inch GP Patty 300 and fly at half throttle most of the time, and the engine was not broken in ... running very rich. Went straight up anytime I wanted to. I ran a 22 X 10 prop. (good grief ... on a 72 inch plane ???)

Yes indeed .... lack of power will not be an issue. If a 2.8 HP Saito 180 running a 16 X 8 prop will do, I think the 5 HP DA-50 will .... well ... tear up the sky.
