Cleaning tip
I'm going to give this stuff a try next flying session. One thing I did notice over the years is that regular car wax applied two or three times a season really helps the appearance of the plane and prevents some of that gunky buildup.
I waxed my Ultra Stick .40 last night using Mothers automotive wax, and it really looks better than new now. I even waxed the spinner and wooden prop -- they also look better than new.
To apply, just do as you would on your car. Put the stuff on (circular motion), let it haze up, and buff it off. Try it -- you'll really be surprised. The wax strips off any residue that may be lingering, and leaves a NICE shiny finish.
This Magic stuff sounds easier, though ...
