Hey, I got my T-Maxx BECAUSE of our 2yo boy, not in spite of him!!

He fell in love at a hobby store where they were running it outside. This gave me the "leverage" to justify getting into the hobby. Now I'm hooked, and Carter still is into it too!!!

So if you wait 2 years, and your newbie is a BOY, you'll be all set!!!
