A nice plane for a sort of begginer is the three channel aerobird by horizon hobby. www.horizon-hobby.com Its an electric but it is aerobatic for loops and stuff, but, how big IS your "yard". If you want a really begginer plane, try the firebird xl. That was one of my first and a pretty nice plane for just cruising and things. Its also pretty cheap.
