I was trying to start my Nexstar for the first time today. No luck. I know my first problem was that I was trying to use a chicken stick. I've read new engines are sometimes hard to get started the first few times. Think i'm going to have to invest in a starter. Quick question about glow plugs. If I take the glow plug out, and hook it up to my glow starter... Should the filament get red hot? It seemed like it was getting warm. But I don't think it ever got really hot enough. Should it just be warm, or glow red hot? Any other advice or tips would be great. Wish it would purr. [&o]
