You need to be cautious about just sticking any old pipe on it. The tuning of the 2 strokes is very important. The crowd will tell you to run a muffler and that it doesn't matter.
Most common problems with the 2 strokes are pipe length setups. I have seen very few 2 stroke setups work really well. Every one of them that I felt worked well has been either using the stock OS setup or the owner played with the lengths and spent a bunch of time setting it up.
OS designed it and set it up for a certain prop and certain RPM.
My experience running the OS 140EFI for a full season and playing with the 140RX, Webra 145's (160's are basically the same setup) is that the Stock Hatori pipe 900 Works very well on the OS. The best setup is the largest ES pipe. The extra volume helps the motors with the midrange problems. The problem with this huge ES pipe is its length. Backplate to stinger is about 41-42". But this is the best setup I have seen run. Next in line is the OS (Hatori 900) pipe.
