I have flown this plane with a gas engine at 8.875, 9, 9.25, 9.5, 10, and 10.5. I am presently at 9.25 and may go back to 9.5. Anyone who can fly this plane at 9.25 or lower is DAMN good. When I had it at 8.875, I did my first tail first landing. It was very invigorating! I would recommend that 9.5 or 9.75 to be a good CG to fly this plane.
