It should do you fine for a bit of fun but as you said not serious 3D!! You want to open the gear up and make sure all the teeth are inline!! On mine wernt and after the first flight it stripped the gears! I replaced it with a GWS 350D! You will also want to make sure that the CG is in the right place as with the lack of power if its to far back it gets a bit hairy, especially when you have to turn quick to avoid the trees in small fields
