I read somewhere that a JR Quattro (voiding the warranty) can be converted to a 6ch. During the brief time I had one, behind the battery there are the servo reversers. Have you noticed that there are two extras?

If you do it, you would wind up with a 6ch JR Quattro (a.k.a the JR *** (in Latin) or more pleasantly the JR Seis(Spanish.. I know. Four is Cuatro in Spanish))

It wouldn't have Dual rates or ATV, but it's a good idea if you don't have the dough to buy a new Tx.
