A riveted silencer coming apart is not a typical MVVS problem... Rossi's for instance had the exact same problem in the past...

In short, ALL riveted mufflers are a potential problem. Stay away from them!

What surpises me is that a company producing engines in the 21st century still uses 19th century technology for their mufflers... Probably because it is so damn cheap...

But the engines... I just started using them last year... I've got 4 of them now, and a fifth on the way... So you can say I am really satisfied with them.

About the price... they aren't getting expensive... but these engines come from Europe, and the dollar is really low these days... so what you are paying is exchange rates...
