On my plane I had to sand off a few mm of the front of the rudder horn plate to get it far enough forward. I think my horns are either the large or medium offset type, perhaps they are larger than yours? My links actually line up a mm or so in front of the hinge line, apparently it needs to be like that since my cables are not parallell all the way from the servo.
