The Guillows kits are notoriously difficult to convert to RC (or even flying planes for that matter). From all I've heard, the wood is very heavy and most of it should be replaced, and because the plane is close to scale, the tail surfaces are usually small enough to make handling tricky at best.

I'm sure many others will pipe in here with opinions and their experiences.
