RE: modeltech dragonlady
Only got 3 flights on mine. My hot shot son was torque rolling at about 60 feet when the motor quit. Knocked main gear off and they went through the wing. Two nice big holes and one busted traing edge and aileron. Think it can be fixed easy enough. Someone compared it to a 4*60 on here. I have a 4*60 I fly alot and anything the 4* can do the Dragon Lady does 1000% better. Kind of like comparing a Stearman to a Pitts Special. The Dragon Lady is the perfect plane if someone wants the scale aerobatic looks but are leary of the unforgiving nature of an Extra300 or a Cap. On my first 3 flights (and only flights) It performed the 2004 IMAC Basic routine very easily. Mine has an OS120FS. Perfect motor for pulling big loops and other large maneuvers. Enough soap box.......I have to get back to fixing that wing. Probably should make the teenager who broke it fix it.
