Default RE: Annoying Newbie

I am very new to RC and I am PRAYING that I do not come off as a know-it-all. I took the regulars' advice and joined the AMA and my local club. I really like everyone at the field and try to introduce myself to everyone I don't know. I buddy-boxed with a cool guy named Andy that is no only in my ground school class at the airport, but also is the VP of the club! I learned a lot from him and listened to everything he said. He fixed some things on my plane as soon as I got it out of the car, made some suggestions for larger changes that would require more time, and flew it for the first time. Everyone was really helpful and a few gave me some spare parts.

I just pray that I never become the guy that everyone avoids.

Just to give a quick update with the cub: IT FLIES GREAT!!! I did a few take-offs and landings with Andy on the buddy box, and he cut me loose! I flew it many more times that day and even started into some basic scale areobatics!!! Many people were giving me "props" on my landings.

Thanks again everyone for helping me out with my cub from start to finish.
