Annoying Newbie

Hey man I can do rolling circles which is a difficult maneuvers and many more, yet I still asking questions to other people; there is a difference between listening to an answer and refuting an answer; plane and simple if you don't think I know what I'm talking about, don't ask me. I go to the field to enjoy some flying and the company of friends, probably I spend more time chatting than flying, but this ##$$%%@@ keep following me; I think the best way is to cut him clean.
Well enough of this. Lets help the people whom deserve being help.

I shouldn't worry about it. However good he is, he will come against that great leveler; the ground not being where it should be.
Once he gets the dumb thumbs (which he will, sooner or later) and has to take that 'walk of shame ' to the pile of sticks, he will almost certainly slow down to the pace of us frail humans.

And a very good opinion it is.
Thanks Kent, I wish guys like you would post like this more often. There are so many members who do just like you do; Read the posts, absorb the knowledge, and use it. But we rarely hear from you guys. A lot of newbies would benefit from hearing stories like this.

I don't give advice on here because my knowledge is still growing. I come here to read and learn from the wide variety of people RCU. To me RCU should be required reading for a newbie, but, that is just my opinion.

Here's my .02.
I got bit by the RC bug a few months ago and joined this forum. That was the single best thing I have done while in this hobby. I have read many threads and recieved more education by just spending time here. My plane is almost ready to cover. I've joined a local club and will be getting instruction fot my first flight as soon as weather and time permit. I know the trolls and know-it-alls are very frustrating and a strain to self control but you guys are doing a great service to many hobbyists here. I need to make a special mention to MinnFlyer, cafeenman, geistware and William Robison. Your answers and advice have been especially helpfull to us. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and time.

And the personal attacks continue. FHHuber, you've pointed out many of my flaws... wrongly pointed out and this is just one more. Let me make it easy for you sinse you're obviously not smart enough to figure it out for yourself. Here's the one obviouse flaw you're clearly too stupid to catch... I have a serious problem with authority especially your brand of vigilanty authority. Now that I've given you ammo to attack me with please try to make better flames because honestly your flames are pretty lame.
Also, next time we're at the club field togeather please say it to my face.
FHHuber's best friend in the whole world,
Mike

This is coming from a newbie so take it as that.
While I was learning I utilized everybit of help I could get. I learned real quick that everybody has there on style and approach. This turned out to be a good thing, not bad. One guy would be able to teach me circuits good but I was lost on lineups, the next would explain a great way to get the approach down. Yet another got my landings down to a grace. Funny thing is all these guys are critics of one another, but between them, I soloed and never looked back in just two days! So yes, noobs like me, shut up and have fun.

I am very new to RC and I am PRAYING that I do not come off as a know-it-all. I took the regulars' advice and joined the AMA and my local club. I really like everyone at the field and try to introduce myself to everyone I don't know. I buddy-boxed with a cool guy named Andy that is no only in my ground school class at the airport, but also is the VP of the club! I learned a lot from him and listened to everything he said. He fixed some things on my plane as soon as I got it out of the car, made some suggestions for larger changes that would require more time, and flew it for the first time. Everyone was really helpful and a few gave me some spare parts.
I just pray that I never become the guy that everyone avoids.
Just to give a quick update with the cub: IT FLIES GREAT!!! I did a few take-offs and landings with Andy on the buddy box, and he cut me loose! I flew it many more times that day and even started into some basic scale areobatics!!! Many people were giving me "props" on my landings.
Thanks again everyone for helping me out with my cub from start to finish.

I find the annoying expert even more annoying than the annoying newbie.
