Default RE: Funtana Battery securing

I have a question about the fuel tank. On my funtana, the fuel tank sticks out about a 1/4" behind the former that the wing dowels go into. I did like the instructions said and just glued a craft stick to secure it, but it is in a bind. The only way I know to keep it from doing that is to remove the foam that I place in front of the tank, but then it touches the fire wall, which cause air bubbles. Could you possible describe how you got your installed your tank. any help would be appreciated. As far as batter mounting goes, on mine with a Saito 100 all I did was epoxy velcro down behind the throttle servo tray and held the battery with the velcro. It is a very secure and simple way of mounting the battery.
