If you were to use octane fuel, any engine manufactuing company would halft to chage their who engine layout, not to mention the engine would need to be much bigger because you need a bigger glowplug in order to ignight the fuel. Even though octane runs much cleaner than Nitro, nitro puts out atleast 3x as much power.
