RE: Why not gas instead of nitro?
The main reason (I think) that nitro based fuel is used for models is it's much safer to handle than gasoline. Could you imagine the carnage if every T Maxx/Savage, etc. owner had a 5 gallon can of gas in the same place they now store their model fuel?
