Apparently the Ono Special is a Freestyle modified to be even more suited to 3D.

The biggest mod I can see is enlarged ailerons. Others are small/cosmetic mods like anti-vibration wing mount, see-thru fuel tank, access hatch, anodized gear etc.

The Ono Special has gone out of stock before as it seems it is only produced in limited runs. As such it may be back in stock before long.
