I am ready to order the Seduction Free Style Ono Special... If you have ordered one of these from Singapore Hobbies, please give me some info.....

How did you place the order, and was all ok?

What do I need to order in addition to the kit? Carbon rods? Tank? Spinner? Or is all that included?

What is the US total for the Ono?

Any details would be great, I will try to order this week if I can.

I ordered mine by email. Send them a note telling them what you want as well as what they would suggest to go along with it.

The tank and spinner come with the ono version. In addition, I would order the carbon rods. I also got some ball bearing control horns that they recommended, but I'm not sure that they are needed, or if they will even work. The machined horns that came with these extras appear to be too long to achieve the desired control throws.

My total with many extras was just under 200 dollars to my door. It arrived 7 days after they shipped it. I believe the price for the actual kit (ONO Special) was around 155.

I emailed my credit card # to them in three seperate messages. I have done this in the past couple of years with two other asian shops and have had zero problems.

Did you e-mail small parts of the total credit card #? That's wild.

I emailed my card number in 4 emails and the exp. date in another. Had no problems.

why do you email them so much?

If you break your CC# into several different e-mails, it makes it more difficult for someone to intercept all of your info in a single e-mail. You can also fax your CC#, or they do have a phone #.

Can someone PLEASE measure the area on the bottom of the fuse the Text ONO SPECIAL is suppose to be and left me no please.

I thought I would pass this along. I ended up calling them direct. I waited till 10pm cst and called Frederick Young. A bit hard to understand, but VERY NICE.

The Seduction Ono Special comes with fuel tank but not the spinner. (HE THEN SAID IT DID COME WITH SPINNER)

I hope this will help some of you that have been trying to get one of these. I got the Ono Special Kit and the carbon fiber rods (2 sets). I then gave my credit card # on the phone, and they are going to send my an e-mail with the totals. Should be around $175 US Dollars delivered to my house. Just a little info for ya.

Give Randy (the post just above yours) a holler. He has some very nice decal sets. I have some and they are the best I've seen.

Seduction Series - Demonstrator, FreeStyle, Fun Fly etc...

and read all the stuff. (note that the word "KIT" was used, not ARF, but they do have an ARF version called the "DEMONSTRATOR" I think.) There is enough there to keep you busy for a while!!

Thanks 2fast4u, I'll do that. I guess if I had have paid more attention while I was reading I would have seen the word kit & not ARF.Oh well I always said I'm too poor to pay attention. LOL

My Ono Special kit did come with both the correct Tank, and the spinner. Dont tell them you need a tank like I did....now I have two beautiful 220cc tanks

Whew! I just ordered mine about 3 weeks ago (ono special) they must really go through those things quick. I just finished covering mine.....pics to come...and of course Randy is supplying me with some awesome graphics.....

What is so special about the Ono version of the seduction ?

Apparently the Ono Special is a Freestyle modified to be even more suited to 3D.

If you read the thread Seduction Series - Demonstrator, FreeStyle, Fun Fly etc... Huang wrote: The Ono Special has gone out of stock before as it seems it is only produced in limited runs. As such it may be back in stock before long.

So with that, I guess that means I am either the LAST one to get one, or the first one to get one of the new shipment of Ono's.?.?.?

Good luck to everyone trying to get one of these. I think you can just get a Free Style and add larger ailerons, and get real close to the Ono, less a few small details. Maybe.

The only thing I'm curious about, is that if the Standard freestyle has the built up Horiz Stab like on the Ono. That is one cool feature. Everything else is just cosmetic.

I have both, and the regular does have built up tail feathers. It has an option for a slab tail (sport version or something) and has ailerons built from aileron stock, not built up and sheeted.

I plan on building them both at once and will be able to give a blow by blow then.

If that is the case, then the regular freestyle is almost identical to the Ono. I do like the included spinner and tank, and definatly like the already tinted canopy and anodized landing gear. Also, does the standard freestyle come with wing tips like the Ono Special?
