I have a Superstar 40, OS 40 la is easy to run, never stops running, also has a reliable idle.
The airplane is easy to fly as long as you have someone to trim it out for you. The engine isnt
big on power, but enough for this airplane. I ve seen them at the LHS for around $ 250.00.
