Hitec has a FAQ on thier site. I read it yesterday. They say that using a Hitec radio with a Futaba chord will cause two problems. The slave may transmit unintentionally. Or you could burn out the RF deck. This is just from thier web site. I am not familiar with this situation. I was under the impression it was ok to mix Hitec and Futaba radio's and chords. I may be wrong, and being this was off thier web site I would suggest you look into this matter to be safe. I looked at it as I was looking up specs on some servo's I want to buy. If you have a Hitec chord, there should be no problems. I hope this helps.
