Here is the pictures from a modeler in Germany who modified his KMP elevator to correct the incidence problem.
He emailed me directly thinking he had a VQ. I checked mine (Yes, I am back in the air with number two) and three other local VQ P-38's and could not find an incidence problem. He sent me this picture of his repair and I discovered he had the KMP or whatever it is called in Germany. He also found a 5 degree difference between the wings and elevator.
Not sure of how this modification is done, but here is the picture. Look at the picture closely and you can see how much he lowered the elevator angle.
