Default RE: Thunder Tiger Stick .40 ARF

KB it would be an ok 2nd plane I have had one and I put one together for my nephew to learn on, they fly great but are a bit heavy so your 42 is right on the edge power wise but would work. The only thing I didn't like about it and maybe this has changed is they are covered with the "shelve paper" type of covering and unless they changed that I would go with another companies stick. I'm sure there are a lot of companies that make a 40 size stick arf, you might try Tower for starters. If you are getting a great deal on it(under $100.00 bucks) or don't mind tearing off the covering if it lives long enough and re-covering it then by all means go for it, I have no beef with the way the plane flys but the covering is junk other than that it would make a good second plane.
