I could not figure out the L brackets either. I can't see were the plane needs them.... I think you have a great plan with the pull pull elevator. I had that plan when I started on this plane but I got lazy and put the servos in the tail! Even with the servos back there and the added lead it was still just about 11 3/4 lbs. The OS has great power on this plane, but yours will be even better. Depending on battery selection and a few other things it should be right around 11 1/4 lbs. Good luck
