Having built 5 Regal Eagles, 2 Byrojets and 3 Dynamaxes, I found the opposite to be true. All of the Dynamax powered planes got off the grass much quicker. My last one would get off in 300' with absolutely no wind, while the Byron powered ones usually took 500 - 600 feet.
