Congratulations! And welcome to twindom (you can check out, but you can never leave). Next thing you know, you'll be doing something really stupid, like paying $500 for P-38 landing gear.

Really nice trim job.

I concur completely with your presumptions about COG. Move it back to at least mid range for that design, and it'll be easier on your nose gear, and a little more nimble in the air. Usually, just moving the battery back on a sport twin is enough.

If the fuse former is strong enough, changing the nose gear out to a "Dave Fults" double strut will eliminate most of the headache of a floppy front end.
