Any motor can sound good on the stand. When you launch it, the prop puts a load on the motor and leans the carb out. This is why when you change props you have to richen or lean the motor. Check the head temp as soon as you can to see how hot it is, that will give you a clue as to if it needs to have the carb adjusted.
