Well, I have to say I've seen just the opposite. I put an 8611 into the Partner, and I like it. I did make a few adjustments to settings, but the plane seems even more solid and the rudder response is excellent.

The 8411SA is a very good servo for a pattern plane rudder, but I thought the 8611 was a touch better.

IMHO, if weight is not an issue, there is no such thing as too fast or too powerful a servo.
