Default RE: Its Here!! Double Vision

Working along with Mark Trent we are getting the DV dialed in. I made two flights yesterday and I thought the pitch moment was wrong. It would go down when power was advanced thus up trim required and at landing speed I needed down elevator for landing. I zeroed the top wing and zeroed the stabs. Found I needed to shim engine up 1 degree. Flew it today and the CG. was a little aft I thought, on inital flight, so moved battery foreward to butt up to lower wing tube aft side. Helped ALOT! Made the shift and flew it 5 more times. What a machine, it flies great. Play with it, fly it, and give Chip any inputs you might have as this is a learning process for everyone! Thanks to Chip, Don and Carla for the great support and lets FLY!

BTW the tailwheel wire is weak and I am going to change out with 2mm music wire. Also had a ball bearing race come apart, probobly operator error, however a Hanger 9 ball-bearing link will punch out and replace the one in the horn, it was probobly side load when I
it put on. The horn screws are good however when seated I put a little thin CA on and put some tygon tubing ine the clevis.

Thats it all I've got to say Wayne McCosker STL
