I have just completed a Lanier Edge 540T 1.20. I am using an OS 160 with a Bisson Pitts Muffler. I would like some feedback on the suggested CG of 4.0 to 4.75" from the leading edge at the fuselage. I chose not to mount the elevator servos in the tail, as suggested in the manual and installed two servos in the fuselage with carbon fiber rods crossed to control each half. I also have a pull-pull setup for the rudder. The installation turned out better then expected. The problem that I am having is that I will need to add almost 14 oz to the front behind the firewall to get the recommended CG even with my battery(1100 mAh) and the throttle servo also located behind the firewall. I would like to hear from some others concerning their setup with this plane.
