I'm quite addicted to RC flight simulators (and other PC sims/games too ). I personally own DB RCFS2001, FMS (of course), and Reflex (German flight sim), and my GP RFG2 will be here next week

Thanks to Dave Brown's RCFS sim (ver 3.1) I taught myself to fly in 1992, but that's another story...

I cannot tell you yet how RCFS2001 compares against G2 but I'm pretty sure RCFS2001 falls short. And let me explain. I feel the flight models of RCFS2001 and FMS are very similar. In fact, I think FMS is a little bit better in that respect. I hate the way the planes shake in the pitch axis when they are about to stall in RCFS2001, that's so unreal that it makes me sick/angry/etc...

And if you consider that FMS is freeware and has a huge collection of free add-on planes, I do not see any reason to buy RCFS2001 . Sorry Dave Brown.

Right now, my best flight simulator is Reflex. It's graphics are not photographic quality but its flight model and ground handling of the airplanes are, ohhhhh, superb! (Down load free demo from http://www.reflex-sim.de/ and see for yourself)

I've read in the net that G2's flight model is better than Reflex's, so if that's the case, G2 will become my new king of the RC sims.
