I used extensions on the rudder, elevator, and they weren't very long. Had them laying around. Maybe 6 or 7 inches. I hate it that I cut back some of the cheek next to the firewall to try and make access to the fuel line (for fueling) easier. Now I still can't reach it well enough and have to buy some fittings to rig it up. Would installing a tee in the fuel line between the firewall and the engine and running a filler tube with plug out the bottom between the engine and firewall work or will it cause flow problems? Hope I explained myself.
Thanks for the info on the extensions... The tee in the fuel line may work but you would risk the fuel running straight to the carb instead of into the tank while fueling. I think a better setup would be a fuel dot attached to a separate fuel line running to the third hole in the tank stopper. It looks like they give you plenty of metal tubing so a little extra fuel line would be the only other thing needed.
