I just upgraded from RCFS V.5 to 2001 for just $50. (How nice not to make the Tower monopoly any richer.) The tech support is great. I talked to Dave Brown himself about the compatibity of the new software with Windows XP and then sent him a fax 5 minutes before he left his office on a Friday afternoon and got a prompt email with the needed help. I just want to practice RC maneuvers as I would at the field. I can't see paying for kiddy toys to do "dogfights" or to have landing fields on Mars or whatever or the voices of modelers in the background. This is a great training aid.
