OK guys, I got hit with a master airscrew 6X4 prop today at about 1/4 throttle. It was my own fault for not paying attention and thinking of somthing else. I was breaking in my new engine (AP hornet .09) on my schoolyard scale space walker and I was attempting to check the temp on the engine with my temp gun and then.....WHACK!!!! Right into the tip of my right thumb, all the way down to the bone!!! No lost skin, just a semi deep cut strait into the tip of my thumb and it didn't even stop the engine. Obviously I had a few choice words, stopped the engine and went inside to acces the damage to my thumb. No hospital trips but it did hurt pretty bad. Needless to say I was back out there about an hour and a half later to find out I left all my electrics on and now have semi dead batteries.

Theres a moral to this story and the moral is........don't stick yer hand in the way of a fast spinning prop!!!

BTW.... I never did get that temperature I was looking for.
