One useful hint. Practice it in BOTH directions from the start. Personally I was really good with anti-clockwise circles but when I had to do them in the opposite direction it took me a while to work out the right rudder combinations. Everyone above is correct. You can quite easily do a non-precise elevator aileron rolling circle but they are not controlable, you cannot slow them down to say a one roll rolling circle. A pattern or IMAC rolling circle is really just an extension of a slow roll, the same imputs are used but just at each stage but really you can only learn by flying. Good luck.
