If the Uproar is underpowered (can a 3.75lb plane actually be underpowered?) as mine was with a TT GP-42, knife edge flight does suck with this model, but I put in a TT Pro-36 which transformed its capabilities. I put the plane into knife edge with the nose 25 degrees or so upwards, and it even climbed while flying knife! Doing it from level flight still results in loss of altitude, but go full throttle, with the nose upwards and it amazed me how much difference an engine makes... The only bad part is that my Kyosho Mustang ARF still knifes better than the little Uproar.
