Thanks for the info Dave.

I've been following the Cyclone thread and have also read the thousands of UCD posts. The YCD's don't seem to be widely available in Australia so I'm hoping the Rush will be a good substitute for a YCD 46 when learning 3D.

I'm going to leave my decision on the elevator servo connection until I have the engine mounted. Then I can try the different combinations and see how they effect the CG. I'm thinking of using the following radio gear:

JR 770 Rx
6V 2000 mAh NiMh Rx battery
1 x HS 325 for throttle
2 x HS 425 for ailerons
2 x HS 635 for elevator & rudder

What do you think. I'm aiming for a good compromise between price and performance.
