call me stupid, but wots the cycle clip thing you hear all the time. especiall in RCME
prevents the brown pants becoming the brown shoes

Alternatively I may do a crap job of that, one excellent method of external mounting I have seen is drilling a small hole on the underside of the model and exiting some fuel tube through there. Then by using a rubber band tie the rubber band onto a part of the tail wheel and the arial onto the rubber band. Its the most neatest way I have come across so far of external mounting, to me better than canopy to fin thingy.
Nothing wrong with that, it is what I did.

Hi all, I have just finished my capiche after having bought it a year ago at Sandown not much into building rather be flying, but now its ready to go and my CG is 10mm back from the furtherest back position on the plan is that too far back or can it take a little more than shown on the plan? I could fit a bigger battery as I only have 4.8v 900mah at the moment. I have an Irvine 53 up front but elevator and rudder servos at the tail. All carbon cowl, gear and canopy.
Welcome to Cloud Capiche Land. For C of G, read the instructions. It is the only model I have built where I was happy in the suggested range. Most manufacturers give a very conservative suggested C of G, but with the C50, the range is bang on. Most of us are in the 125 to 135 mm from the leading edge range.

So any chance of some photos? What about final stats (weight, engine etc).
