Thank's for the information. Which Klotz oil did you use?. Is the 5% nitro mandatory for decent performance?.
For several years I have been using a Cline regulator. I have a 2oz header tank with the pickup in the center of the tank. This acts as an air separator. The header tank is located as close to the centerline and as close to the carb. as possible. I use the Cline reg. to fill the header tank. The vent side of the regulator is hooked to muffler pressure therefore the carb. see's muffler pressure just as it was designed to and with the fuel tank in the most ideal position. This has worked very well for me.
What do you recommend for the exhaust as to header length, can size, tail pipe, etc.
My engine is an older Italian model new in the box and looks like it has the dog leg groove on the barrel. What modifications do you recommend or what carb?.
Do you know how much total advance you used or did you set it backed off from peak RPM?.
