Default RE: Decided on an x-cellerator

Quit bashing the truck!!! It is meant for beginner drivers, and I have seen them at my track, thats right, ER SPEEDWAY, finishing well in the B-Mains... and I dono what you talkin about LOSI being so great... ok they are but they need better drivers that own them. As driver's skill increases, so will the potential! If you feel the 18 is sluggish, of which it ain't, you can gear it to accelerate faster of course.

---maybe completely stock on a street, but my truck would kill a stock x-c, on a track and on a street. i really am bummed out by those articles you posted, they keep saying how the truck was built to race and all of that. if they were ment to race they would come as a kit,and not have a .18 engine. the one says how its such a great racing truck, then says how the .18 will beat a .12. i think they are refering to drag racing or something. ---
The engines that come in RTR stadiums are the same as the other RTR st's. These days in R/C, noobs are so hard on with engine size... when little do they know that a .12 can smoke it. But I do have to hand it to XTM for the .18 that comes with it. I now have a .18 class at my track, and more X-C are showing instead of Evader trucks... the turn for the better has started!
