I get a kick out of all the references to RCCA articles. They haven't told the truth about a car in about 6 years. They bow to the advertisers and every product gets a great rating for what it is meant for. As for choosing a nitro truck for racing I would stick with the tried and true. If the XTM buggies are any sign of durability, this truck could be fragile, the guys with XTM buggies here break all the time.

You claim they haven't told the truth? i have seen dozens of tamiyas and duratrax vehicles get really low ratings... so I don't know if we are reading the same RCCA.

Don't matter anymore. I just bought a xxt-nt sport. My lhs does not carry xtm, so I figured that If I break, he will have the parts

Mxracer, u are a tad bit biased, but jeeze icrashthings, ur even worse. How can you call Mxracer biased when ur the one knocking XTM every chance you get? I'm no doctor but i think your suffering from an inferiority complex, ur feeling threatened by xtm, its growing user base and high quality, therefor you feel the need to make belittling comments. Sheesh....
