Default RE: Chip Hyde's Cap-X - Building & Flying

Well, it's coming to a close. I have decided not to put the wheel pants on for the first 1/2 dozen flights... Wheel pants on a rough grass field still scare me. I am a little concerned about the exhaust on the Saito 180 as it is not protruding the cowl at all. I am also concerned that I mounted the engine too far forward. There is not too much room between the head and the cowl and I am afraid of the two bouncing off of each other. Overall, I have to say this is the best arf I have ever put together. It has been a joy...I appreciate everyone's help and will post pics as soon as I can.
