I used a ball link to offset the link inboard a bit. This gives a little more movement although not as much as I have down elevator. Make sure you have a strong servo horn though, otherwise it is liable to twist and blow back, or worst still break.

Alternately make the elevators slightly smaller - probably too late for this. Or use push pull from the front.
