I've been planning on getting a new Caliber 30. Actually it's ordered but it's not in my hands yet so it's not set in stone that I get one. I've been reading and comparing the 30's to the 50's. I'd consider the R50, the Falcon 50 or a few others rather than the Caliber. My question, is there that big of a difference between the OS 46 heli engine and the new 50SXH. It seems hard to pay $189 for a 50 when I can get the 46 for $120. I have a 50SX for my planes and I'm very happy with it but then I've been happy with every OS I've owned! I'm still basically a heli beginner so a slight horsepower advantage would be minor to me but poor handling or maintenance issues would be worth the price difference.

Having owned the Caliber 30 , a good 32 size engine is more than enough power for that light helicopter.
