I'd try and get some stick time on a semi-symmetrical low wing plane, like a Sig fourstar 40,60,120. Last year I went through the same steps. The fourstar is a joy to fly, the cap can be a handfull at times.(slow landings) I fly in Smithfield NC.If you care to spend a day flying at our field let me know and I will put you up on my H9 1/4 cap.
