The brushless tail motor is from CDROM motor. I rewind it with 10 Turns per pole. I use Castle Creations PHX-10. U can build your own Brushless controller but I would say the task is time consuming and not worth the time and money. I recommend just buy it.

Oh... One thing for sure is that elevated tail rotor will prevent (Or just reduce) the tail rotor from hitting the ground if u land tail section first. In real helicopter, UH-01 (Huey), UH-60 (Blackhawk), Apache, SeaHawk, and many more are Elevated Tail Rotor.
