It took a good bit of futzing around with the parts to get the cleanliness of construction that I got. And the photos don't really show it, but a bit of that has to do with using filler to fill up some of the more obnoxious deficiencies. I like this plane a lot (well, so far at least) but I think GP could improve it a lot by upgrading the quality of the wood and maybe changing over to laser cutting the kits.
