Eagle Gasser Questions...
I only have a little second had info from flying a friends gas eagle.
1. He had a pull start on it. I did not notice if it had a top start. I am sure it could be made for top start. I pulled all of the pull starts off my helis to save about 1/4 lb.
2. The gas helicopters in general don't fly the same as there glow counter parts. You can feel the extra weight. I have done 3d with the x-cell and intrepid gasser. They both do it well. They were like 11 and 12 lbs. The eagle gasser I flew was way more than 11 lbs.
3.It was probably 13-14 lbs. (just a guess)
4. Can't say about the eagle. Gassers are great helis. The eagle I saw looked like it was very high quality. It could also be a great heli.
5. They crash very hard. The weight takes a little getting used to. Adjusting the engine is tough at first. Once you get it broken in and figured out. Just adjust and leave it alone. Maybe adjust it twice a year or so.
